A very, *very* good game, but there is one somewhat major issue: the battery optimization is not great. It burns through battery with decent haste, and my phone gets so warm that it could likely cook a hot pocket if not for my phone case. Maybe it's just my phone being junk, maybe it's the app, but it's not a bad thing to look into. Again, a great app with tons of replayability!

Just like everyone else is saying, it's a REALLY good and addictive game! I'm probably going to buy it for PC soon too, to give my phone battery a break! It didn't sound appealing at first, but after giving it a fair try, I'm hooked. My only complaint is that dragging/dropping cards is FRUSTRATING - I often need to drop them a second or third time, which is just annoying and takes away from the fluidity, but hopefully this can be fixed soon.

it's so rare that a game comes out where there's no microtransactions, ads, paid additional content, scammy things like that. it's even MORE rare to find one that is fun to play, easy to learn, has INSANE replayability, great style and fantastic design, and balatro ticks all those boxes and more. what a great time :)
