The TrainTime app provides a one-stop shop for Long Island Rail Road and Metro-North Railroad customers, where riders can buy and use tickets, plan their trips, track their trains, and more.
• Buy tickets with Google Pay or credit/debit card. Split payment between two cards.
• Plan trips with departure times and transfer details before you travel. You can also search for two origin and/or two destination stations at once.
• Save your frequent trains for easy access

Awesome app. Schedules, ticket purchase, arrival and departure notifications and more all in one place. Make being a passenger on the MetroNorth super easy. Only thing missing is a way to pay for parking at your stations. Other than that I'm a big fan. Great Job on its deployment and feature set. Thank you.

Easy to use and accurate. I love that I can just type in where I want to go and it gives me the list of times and then if I click the train I want, it automatically buys me the right ticket so I never worry about whether it's peak time or not.

UPDATE: A few years later the app is vastly improved. --------------------- Routinely takes your money but does not give you tickets. Call the customer service line and they say "oh that didnt go through on our end you'll have to call your bank" call the bank and they say "oh those charges went through you will have to speak with the merchant" leaving me out $60.
