This is a great little game! The story is very simple but fun enough, what's more impressive is the design of the cards and the feel you get that the world these creatures make up has a certain logic to it. The cards have a lot of different abilities that usually click together very well. The game encourages trial and error and there are usually several ways to complete a level which is also a plus for me. At first, I didn't find the post-game very interesting which was disappointing because I was really addicted to the story mode. The draft mode is growing on me though :)

Thanks for the detailed review. A lot of people think that campaign is the game. For me, it's just a way to teach the rules in a controlled environment. The campaign ends when I feel confident that players can get through the draft on their own. But not everyone is willing to make a transition. I'm glad you decided to stick to it.

Lovely little game and not to hard to learn. Almost no ads in between gaming and you don't have to wait to regenerate lives to play new levels. The campaign is a bit short. Levels have a decent challange, meaning they are not unbeatable but also don't make it to easy to become dull. Also love the art style

Edit: I commented previously that the game was incredibly creative with it's mechanic but a bit too easy. The developer suggested I try draft mode for a more challenging experience, and so I wanted to return and confirm that draft mode is definitely the challenge I was looking for. Thanks dev! The many ways this game makes use of it's simple core game mechanic is incredibly impressive.

Hi. It's actually easy to increase the difficulty by adjusting the starting energy or adding more cards to the level. Campaign is a little bit on the easy side overall. I didn't want players to get stuck (although many still do). Draft is more challenging and special powers are often required to complete the run or post a better score.
